This is mainly a shading pratice, but I thought 'Eh heck, let's submit it B) '
It was also a pose practice. I wanted to break out of my shell and stop doing side head all one focus drawings =/ I was like 'Yeah, I want something awesome!' And THIS is what came out of me... Lmao, DAT FOOT.
Also the light source is from below, obvs.
I wanted to do a right cool backgrounds of her jumping from a building or something...But I really have background block (If there is such thing) and I was like 'ARGGGGGHHHH' So I just did the old lazy trick
I think I've developed my own shading style for now I really now want to consintrate on my commissions. Sorry for the wait guys D: Esp the plushie icons ToT FML
Okay, I love critiquing, so sorry if I'm spamming your inbox.
First off, the good points.
Beautifully executed pose, very fluid. I love the motion in the hair, it looks as if it's being wind tossed. The shading is just PWETTY. FFFFF I love it, and you have really come on. This is GOING to be your style from now on. IT HAS TO BE. AND THE EYES. Oh man, I love me some eyes. I have a feeling Martini is very curvaceous, no?
Okay, this is me critiquing nao.
The yellow tassel's folds look a little too angular to me, but that be the look you where going for. A simple outline adjustment can fix that.
The viewers right hand looks a little off. I had to look at it twice to deduce whether it was palm up or face down. Maybe, adjust the angle pictured and hide some of the hand, because it all looks a little to spread out to me.
The left foot, as you mentioned you didn't like, does look a little funky, and the claws don't really look like they're coming out of the foot, and overlapping as they are, look painful and annoying to walk on. The actual sole of the foot is a little to 'see all' to fit the angle. Just move it away from the viewer slightly would fix it.
I do believe that is all. I hope that I helped.
Oh, and btw, your lineart is getting SO good now. Much cleaner. Just thought I'd put that out there.
